1) Time that was significant to me when i was a child when i first went snowboarding with my best friends. I was about 8 years old and didn’t really know anything about it it was a completely new experience. The thrill of going fast was great, falling was fun then but i was learning it was one of the funniest things i had done at that point in my life and it still is today. And now I am an instructor and teach those young kids who are trying the sport out just as i was for the first time.

5) My definition of justice is doing the right thing when a wrong action is done and confronting the problem and showing care for the person or person that the action was toward. The most unjust action I’ve heard of was the story of Emmett Till and how the murders went free and the jury was all white just to back up the white men that killed him.

3) The neighborhood at my old house was one of the funnest place to be when i was little my two best friends at the time lived live across the street and many other friends lived within walking distance. I was free to do and go where ever i want to i rode bikes and played football in the street. All my neighbors where friendly except one the grass was long in there yard the we rarely saw them but there was never any problems. But i have moved since them and now i have no neighbors .

Memoir “Mount Baker”

Mount Baker Washington, home of the world record snowfall in the winter of 98-99 with 1,140 inches. That’s where my two best friends and I were last spring break. We left on a friday morning in an RV that we rented with five people and two stinky dogs. Playing xBox and eating nachos is how we passed the time on the twelve hour drive from Springfield, Oregon to Glaicer, Washington. We arrived in Glacier late friday night and proceeded to drive up a narrow winding mountian road as thick snow fell. We finally reached the parking lot of the resort, and after an exhausting drive, we all fell asleep immediately. The next morning we awoke to six inches of fresh powder which was being plowed out of the parking lot. So we bundled and gear up and headed out to venture the unfamiliar mountain. Riding the new and unfamiliar terrain was amazing, wind lips and cliff drops scattered the whole mountain. the snow was incredible with over one foot of fresh powder new tracks where not hard to find throughout the day. As the day wore on, the clouds began to break to reveal the protruding mountains that towered around us. The view was amazing and that was by far my best day of riding all year.

My thought on text messaging are that they are very useful and are used the same way as an email. On Average i send About 50 texts a day, some days more than others. Text messaging really doesn’t affect my writing when i am writing something for class like an assignment but i do tend to abbreviate or shorten words when taking notes. Texting is a way to keep in contact with people and a way for parents to give kids information, that maybe be important. Text massaging has a totally different language than and writing style than conventional literature, with abbreviating for whole sentences sometimes. I think text meassaging takes part of talking on the phone and is more convenient with the ablilty to multi-task easier.

The Insight I have recieved from Reading The Battle of Jericho  by Sharon M. Draper is that the way you percieve a person you don’t really know may change once you get to know them and that it may be for the better or for the worse. ” they dont know they’re  givin’ it up.”  Madison explained. Jericho Still din’t under stand. ” how can they not know?” We lift it.” Madison Replied.” Pg.93

A blog is a persons opinion or answer to a certain topic or question.I have heard of blogs
In my Lit Class and on the internet.I am very comfortable with computers and use them almost every day.Usually i use them to Type papers and research topics for school. The writing i like to do is creative writing because its fun.I think people are concered with childeren on the internet because they are affraid that they will talk to weirdo’s on the internet and people they dont know.I Think that the internet is dangerous but if you are cautions it isn’t really. My Friend usually use the internet to go on myspace.I Think tht blogging will be fun and something different than just regular classwork.

The Book a chose to read for my SSR is The Battle of Jericho by Sharron Draper. I chose this book to read because the first few pages really grabbed my attention and i was interested in finding out more about Jericho’s struggles in be accepted in to the Warrior of Distinction the most popular club in school. I chose this book on my own and it was not recommended.
